Finding paragraph #3
My third question, "Did the Anaconda Plan cause the soldiers of the Confederacy want to surrender? Why?" was a very easy question to answer. I went to multiple websites trying to find the answer but it was in front of me all along. Yes, the Anaconda Plan helped make the Confederacy surrender because they were running out of everything. The Anaconda Plan was used to cut the South off from supplies from over seas and also helped take land from them at the same time. As the south lost more and more supplies to the union advances their will began to break. They were losing supplies for: weapons, food, water, shelter, etc. It was an ingenious plan that led to the fall of the south and the start of reconstructing their home. However, if this plan hadn't have worked then we might would have witnessed a different ending of the Civil war. Luckily, however, it did work out and we could all live in the same country in peace.
